Project Targets	The applicant proposed to conduct a trial programme to compress the packaging film waste by mini-balers at industrial and commercial buildings (thereafter called C&I) for temporary storage then forward them to recycler for recycling in order to reduce transportation cost. The business viability and collection efficiency of such collection model will be analysed. The feasibility of using new tapes and/or labels (with materials that belong to the same plastic group as packaging films) will also be explored to reduce manual handling time of packaging film waste by the recyclers. The project mainly focuses on the following: Collect around 300 tonnes of packaging film waste from 20 C&I buildings Purchase and install 20 on-site balers in 20 C&I buildings Forward to downstream recyclers to pelletize and recycle packaging film waste Set up promotional booth with display panels regularly to disseminate leaflets and posters to C&I tenants, 1 video about introduction of this project will be produced Coach and educate C&I tenants on plastic waste sorting and clean recycling Explore new packaging tapes and/or labels with the same plastic code of packaging films in the market for trial by 3 – 4 C&I tenants and complete a study report Prepare an operation model analysis report Conduct a sharing seminar
