| Project Targets |
To increase the industry capability and efficiency of EV battery recycling, the applicant proposed an 18-month project to produce an e-guidebook for EV battery recycling. The project will cover systematic analysis on EV battery sorting, collection, transportation, dismantling and recycling processes when producing the e-guidebook. The project aims to pave way for the upcoming EV Battery Producer Responsibility Scheme launched by the Environmental Protection Department. The project will involve collaboration with different automotive associations, federations and education institution (Vocational Training Council, VTC) to organize training workshops and seminars to strengthen the operation awareness of the industry and assist the participants to go through the Chemical Waste Producer Registration, if needed. The e-guidebook will be uploaded to the official website of FASHK for free download. A designated webpage, hosted on official website of FASHK, will be created for the project. Besides, a promotional video will be produced. |
