Project Targets

The project mainly included the following areas:

  • An incentive scheme to produce at least 1,080 tonnes of plastic pellets in the project using EPS waste collected
  • Conduct a trial study: A project report that should include cost analysis of the feasibility of using proper technology to shrink the size of incoming EPS at source for potential of lowering the logistics cost. Estimated to have 3 – 6 machines on different waste generator sites for the 6-month trial
  •  A video would be produced to introduce the project to the public
