Summary of Project Results The applicant established an enhancement programme for recycling industry by development of practice note and training. The project mainly included the following activities:
• Development of the practice note for recycling industry on food waste, waste cooking oil, rubber tyres, textiles and wood
• Provision of training programmes for recycling industry to enhance the knowledge of occupational health and safety, environment, sorting, recordkeeping and the concept on clean recycling
• Promotion activities such as development of webpage, promotional seminars and a booth at Eco Expo Asia 2016 to uplift the awareness of recycling industry
• A presentation ceremony was organised
